findmo.de aims to map the locations of bloggers and blog posts. They will develop a WordPress plugin to collect location information from bloggers and display blog posts on maps using Google Maps. Their goal is to provide valuable location-based information about discussions on blogs by obtaining first-party data directly from content creators, rather than through screen scraping or IP addresses. findmo.de believes they have an advantage over competitors because they can engage directly with bloggers to gather local information.

Big sites have widgets we collect on leads. We know where people are talking about what. That is valuable information. Its better than screen scrapping. Bloggers volunteer their location for us.
To Start: We will use a Wordpress plug-in to gather location information. To Start: We will mash Google maps to display data. To Start: We will collect when large entities use these widgets/data on their sites.
Ligit pulls IP information. Google pulls IP information. Your mom pulls MY information. We get first hand data from the content creator.
We have determination. So do they. We have ideas. So do they. We have tech-studs. So do they. We have the bloggers . They don't.
