Scene One: Skylar Scene opens up on Skylar’s closed eyes. She is covered in dirt and a little bit of blood. Her eyes open and she slowly stands up and looks around her. The sound of some running and gasping is heard. A branch snapping brings her back and she looks around in fear. Skylar Who’s there? Skylar Just stop playing games! Scene Two: The Campfire Scene one cuts into scene two where the dialogue ironically continues. A group of five young adults are seen sitting in a circle around a fire. The title ’12 hours ago’ dissolves on screen. Eric What else am I meant to do? I’m bored Sophie Can we get through this without you playing games! Faith How long do we have? Joseph About an hour Eric What danger could there possibly be in finding five flags Flash forward to montage of events, and a finding a flag with a writing on it. Aneris
Come on we can do this Eric That’ll be a piece of cake. Joseph grabs the paper and reads the riddle. Joseph 1."I die one time, every year, but time strengthens me." 2.“What always runs but never walks, often murmurs, never talks, has a bed but never sleeps, has a mouth but never Sophie: Stop messing around all of you, for fuck sakes Faith None of us want to, but we have no choice Faith A tree by a river, that’s the answer to the riddle. Sophie Come on then, let’s do this Sophie Good luck guys Eric What’s the worst that could happen?
