This document provides a menu of publishing services from A Flair for Writing including: 1) Editing services priced between $2.50-$10 per page including basic, extensive, and developmental editing. 2) Book layout services priced between $2.50-$5 per page including basic formatting, detailed formatting, ISBN, and copyright services. 3) Printing services for 8, 12, or 25 books priced based on number of pages and book dimensions. 4) Optional promotional and other services such as press releases, ghost writing, and video promotions.

- 1. Publishing Services Menu Name of Author: Name of Book: Number of Manuscript Pages: A Flair for Writing has prepared a Menu of Services for your specific publishing needs. Publisher requires some services; Author may choose others. EDITING SERVICES Please fill in the services you choose. All Editing Services include a review of three (3) manuscript chapters by the Editor to determine the appropriate Editing Services required. The Author must accept Editors recommendation. Cost for Editing Services is based on the number of Manuscript Pages and the level of editing required. Prices range between $2.50 - $10 per page. BASIC SERVICE $ Basic Editing is necessary for manuscripts, which are well written but require proofing for punctuation, grammar, spelling, and overall word flow. EXTENSIVE $ Extensive Editing requires changes/corrections in grammar, spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, word flow, tenses, voices, accuracy of facts, etc. DEVELOPMENTAL $ Developmental Editing includes all editing phases from previous packages with the addition of rewriting text for clarity, changing position of text, changing POV (point of view) for characters, changing first person/third person/narrator thought, speech, and/or dialogue, correcting author intrusion, re-creating beginning/ending of chapters, and/or changing character description/ conflict/development. TOTAL EDITING SERVICES $ BOOK LAYOUT SERVICES Cost for Formatting Manuscript Pages is based on the number of pages and the amount of formatting required. Please select the Book Layout Services you require. Prices range between $2.50 - $5 per page. BASIC FORMATTING $ Design Layout includes second proofing, Table of Contents, Page Layout for printing, including line spacing, font selection, chapter name and book title headers, page number footers, and copyright page. DETAILED FORMATTING $ Design Layout includes all of Basic Formatting, in addition to any of the following: Index and Chapter Page Illustrations (priced accordingly) ISBN (International Standard Book Number) Included $ This is similar to a UPC code on other merchandise. We will obtain an ISBN for you, and the Publisher owns the number. The 13-digit number will be printed on the Copyright Page and along side the bar code on the back cover of the book. Cost is based on distribution in U.S., Canada, or globally COPYRIGHT Recommended but not required $ Whatever you publish, you rightfully own. However, obtaining a copyright for your work prevents anyone from extracting, plagiarizing, or copying your book contents in any way. We can provide you with full details on how to obtain and register your copyright from the U.S. Copyright Office. LIBRARY OF CONGRESS NUMBER (L/C) $ If you are planning to list your book in Libraries, you will need a L/C Number. You may obtain this yourself. We will provide you with details, upon request. PRINTING SERVICES Cost is based on the number of printed pages after formatting, and includes full color printing of outside book cover on 110 lb. cover stock with bleeds and Perfect Binding. All inside pages are printed on 60 lb. white stock with black ink. Any inside pages requiring ink color other than black will require a quote at an additional cost. Publisher will quote a cost for more than 25 Books or more than 210 MS Pages. One (1) Press Proof will be shipped to Author for approval before the full run of books is printed. 8 BOOKS up to 210 printed pages $ Enter # Pgs Final Printed Pages. PROMOTIONAL SERVICES PRESS RELEASE $ Publisher will write a Press Release for the Author and will distribute it to one (1) of the Authors hometown newspaper. PRESS RELEASE & BIO $ Publisher will prepare a Press Release and Bio of the Author and will distribute it to two (2) of the Authors hometown newspapers. PROMOTIONAL SERVICES $ OTHER SERVICES These services are available to the Author at an additional cost. Please call or email us for more details. GHOST WRITING $ Prices quoted per project from $50 per page and up. PUBLIC RELATIONS $ One of our affiliates is an award-winning Public Relations company, which will work with you to promote your book for more sales. We have marketing consultants, book publicists, and PR professionals ready to assist you. VIDEO PROMOTIONS We have a special effects video expert on staff who can produce a professional-quality, custom- $ made video trailer to promote your book on youtube.com or social networking sites.
