This document discusses the importance of fluid mechanics in daily life through various examples. It begins by defining fluid mechanics and its fields of application. It then provides historical context before explaining fluid mechanics underlies many common technologies like air conditioning, gas turbines, rockets, and aerodynamics. More everyday examples are given such as rain droplets forming due to surface tension, hot air balloons rising due to buoyancy, drag forces on trees and leaves, the circulatory system, water pipes, and the operation of hair dryers. In conclusion, fluid mechanics has broad importance across many sectors of engineering and impacts our daily lives more than realized.

12. They are………………….
• Those are the large structure of performing work done for
the help of using Fluid Mechanics . But small many
things that usually we are not think so far about the uses
of fluids in our daily life…….

13. • Rain Droplet
• What makes the rain form little droplets?
Could it be surface tension...

14. • Hot Air Balloons
• a hot air balloon rises because the air inside the
balloon is hotter than the air outside the balloon. the
forces acting on the balloon, we realize a buoyancy
force is pushing upwards on the balloon.

15. • Tree..!!!
• the drag force on a single leaf would be different than the
drag force on an entire tree. this makes sense when we
think about it because force is pressure times area. If we
increase the area, we will increase the force.

17. • Blood Circulating.
• The flow of blood through your veins is much like
that of a fluid flowing through a pipe. The flow of
blood is steady and laminar

20. • Hair Dryer
• Many girls we know blow dry their hair on a regular basis.
Like them, we enjoy this commodity of everyday life. if
we center the blow dryer above our head and point down,
we can feel the shear force of the air blowing over our
face and hair.

21. • Actually,I said before the branch of fluid mechanics are
huge as it has a large field in different sector.Though it
causes a little bit demerits, after all it’s importance is huge
in our everyday life also the engineering sector. So,For
being a good Engineer it have to be go through.
