The Master of Music in Music Education program at the European University Cyprus provides comprehensive training in music education theory, research, developments and skills. The program is offered both on-campus and online, and is supported by faculty with experience in music education, therapy, technology and neuroscience. Graduates will be prepared for careers in teaching, performing, administration and research in music education settings. The 18-month program requires completion of 24 credits of core courses and a 6-credit thesis. Admission requires an undergraduate degree in music or education, along with evidence of musical experience and skills.

General Admission Requirement
In the postgraduate Music Education program, applications are accepted by candidates with
a Bachelor in Music or Music Education or an equivalent title of study from a recognized
university. Additionally, applications can be received by Education Sciences graduates
(Primary Education and Early Childhood Education) or equivalent title of study, who have a
musical education background/experience, that can be supported through the submitted
portfolio (awards, distinctions, musical qualifications, other special skills, teaching experience,
certificates of attendance at conferences, seminars, concerts, sound and video recordings,
etc.). Such applicants may be required to attend, following the Evaluation Committees and
the Academic Advisors suggestion, basic courses in music or music education.

Success in personal interview
The selection Committee of the Master program conducts a personal interview with each
applicant.
