The World is Your Oyster Rebecca Subbiah RDN, LDN spoke on how ¡°The world is your oyster.¡± ? Put yourself out there, use social media to your advantage. Be real and genuine, and great things will happen. ? Find your niche ¨C don¡¯t be afraid to make mistakes. ? Have fun and be YOU. ?
Practice Applications Consider starting a blog if you want to practice writing, maybe volunteer to write newsletters. ? Write a professional twitter Bio and network. Join in with #Rdchat #foodiechats, and connect with students using #Rs2be ? Approach RD¡¯s you admire in your desired field and see if they will mentor you. ?

Internship Fair ? Obtaining an internship in this competitive landscape can be difficult these days. The student internship fair, hosted by NDEP, is designed to help students meet and network with dietetic internship directors from all over the United States. Over 100 internships will have faculty and/or interns available to discuss their program and admission criteria, and to distribute program handouts or brochures.
