From Mi ma and Pete
Today Pete and Mima
went on a cruise on a
HUGE World War II
liberty ship. The ship
holds hundreds of people
and has sailed all over
the world
We are standing on the forward starboard
side of the ship. The front of the ship is
called the bow, and the back is the stern.
The right side is called the starboard side
,and the left is the port. It’s very POSH.
This tugboat pulled us out
into the harbor.
Do you see the tugboat
man?
We passed by lots of ships. Which
one do you think is the hospital
ship?
How can you tell
that it was a cold
day out? How can you tell
                     that it was warm in
                     the engine room?
Can you find the
backhoe in this picture?
Remember when we
visited Mimi?
What is Pete DOING?
When we come see you in December, we are
going to drive from Baltimore to Los Angeles.
We will sleep in our van at night. Does our bed
look comfy?
When we get to Los Angeles, we will stay in this
white house – near your house. You can walk over to
visit us!

           See you soon!!
