❑ Tunak Forest Recreation and Eco-tourism Center
❑ Invested USD 2.2 million from 2015 to 2020
❑ Project components
- Build a forest recreation and eco-tourism center in Tuank (2015-2017)
- Capacity building for Indonesian government workers and local residents (2015-2018)
- Strengthen forestry cooperation and promote a local development model
❑ Achievements
- Built facilities to support eco-tourism (visitor center, multi purpose hall, guest houses,
reception center, butterfly learning center, forest trail, camping ground)
- Capacity building for local people (70 %) and government officials (30%)
- Tunak Forest Recreation became a model of forest recreation managed by local people.
