- 4. TECHNOLOGY The use of polypropylene honeycomb has enabled us to develop innovative technology for the furniture world. After a number of years research and testing, we have developed LITEX, an exclusive Forlite srl panel. The lightness of our furniture range is a direct result of a new construction technique, which uses this material in its inner structure. TECHNOLOGY
- 5. RUCTION PROC As a rule, some 90% of the weight* of each item of furniture is due to the heavy inert materials used internally: chipboard and MDF. We have replaced these materials with super-light LITEX panels. The use of LITEX dramatically reduces the number of trees that are usually cut down to provide the conventional materials. Only the outer shell of Forlite furniture is in luxurious oak wood, sourced from forests where selective cutting and replanting are guaranteed.
