Students will learn about the climate of the Amazon rainforest through a lesson using various digital media and tools. They will listen to a podcast, complete a WebQuest for information, scan QR codes about climate and rainfall, create YouTube videos in groups of 3 to upload to a class Facebook page, and comment on other students' video posts. Their understanding and participation will be evaluated through assessing the quality of their video, contributions to the group work, and completion of the WebQuest. The teacher will also evaluate the effectiveness of the media used in aiding the students' learning.
