Dear Dr. Sahasrabuddhe( Director, College of Engg Pune)
I first met Mr. Sasindran in a series of Consultancy reviews of a major project at WISE, on creating pathways to
renewable energy sources. He had been commissioned to write one of the large Background Papers
(Assessment of Thermal Power generation for India in the medium term) for this task. I was quite impressed
with his experience, and in particular with his ability to combine Cost Analysis with Future technology-outlook
to select the right technology and systems.
Subsequently I have met him a couple of times in connection with his plans to create a Project Management
Course (for technical managers, as well as for Engineering students). He has put in a lot of research and
collation for this course, which includes a number of case studies drawn from his own experience in India and,
of course, abroad. He has scheduled the first of these courses shortly, in Hyderabad, and has been interested
in meeting Directors of Educational Institutions to see if there could be some synergy. I did not get the
impression that he is interested in making this a lucrative "lecture circuit" at all.
I am asking him by a copy of this letter to be in touch with you and set up a date at which he can present his
ideas for a short-course on Project Management (maybe 2days; perhaps repeated in later weeks).
I trust you will agree to see him and give him a hearing.
With kind regards,
Yours truly,
J G Krishnayya
