The show "From Lad To Drag" aims to transform straight men into drag queens over 10 weeks. Each week, the men living together in a house will receive makeovers and practice performances for the Saturday night show. They will perform in drag for celebrity judges and a public vote, with the bottom two competing in a "Drag Off" and one being eliminated. The winner of the finale will receive £50,000.

From Lad ToDrag The whole point in this show is to turn the straightest of men into a fabulous drag artist. Nominated in by family and friends these men think they are going on a show to compete to be ‘Britain’s most masculine’. When really they are going to compete to become ‘Britain’s Best Drag Queen’. These men will live in a house together and the pilot episode it will be revealed the true reason the men are there. Being told the winner will win £50,000 then men will then decide if they want to go through with the show. The show will run over a course of 10 weeks, on a Saturday night. Each episode will show footage of the men throughout the week, living in the house, having makeovers, practising for the performance that they will do on the Saturday night. The men will then perform in drag and try to put on the most entertaining show. It is then down to the celebrity judges to say their opinion on the performance. It then goes to the public vote and the two men with the lowest votes compete in a ‘Drag Off’ (sing off). The judges then decide who their favourite performance was and put them through to the next week. ‘From Lad To Drag’ will be aired at 8pm on a Saturday night on channel 4 for one hour. The show finale will be down to the last 3 men. The man who puts on the best show for the public will be voted the winner and will win £50,000.
