Fernando Mar鱈a Steverlynck is a sustainability consultant and LEED AP based in Doha, Qatar. He has over 15 years of experience in architecture, project management, and sustainable building certification. Currently he is managing the Qatar office for Zonda Engineering and providing LEED consultancy for the massive Msheireb Downtown Doha project. He has worked on projects throughout Europe and the Middle East specializing in green building and metro station design.

I was in charge of quality control, reporting directly to Client and Project Manager, coordinating different disciplines and contractors. My responsibility was to ensure the design intent was maintained and quality was not compromised, reviewing construction documents, conducting site inspections and participating in coordination and progress meetings with all stakeholders. Architect - Milan, Italy Involved in the design. I have been in charge of producing tender drawings package, from architectural layouts to details, coordinating with MEP, Civil and other consultants. Prepared a successful planning application for an office building in London and for a residential development in Glaston, Rutland. I assisted to client and design team meetings and prepared drawings during planning, tender and construction stages. I was also involved in a research project funded by the NHS investigating design strategies for sustainable hospitals.
