- 3. Definition of Instruction Instruction is the act of educating, giving the steps that must be followed, an order that should be done, and asking someone to do something.
- 4. Function of Instruction 1. To give the task. 2. To order somebody to do something. 3. To give warnings and advice. 4. To provide instruction in sequence, usually found in the Manual Instruction of the equipment, software tutorial, or guide the work.
- 5. Example of Instruction 1. Take care! 2. Write it on the note! 3. Let's go now! 4. Close the door, please! 5. Please, open the window! 6. Don't make a noise! 7. Dont forget to turn off the lamp! 8. Dont cry! 9. Listen and repeat my message! 10. Sweep the floor, please!

- 8. Dialogue One day, Aurel, Hafara, Alwy, Dwi and Fika are cleaning the classroom. Aurel : Hafara! Where is the broom? Hafara: The broom is beside Alwy. Aurel : Alwy, please bring the broom to me! Alwy : Okay, wait a moment. Fika : It is too dark here. Alwy, turn on the lamp, please! Alwy : With pleasure. Aurel : Someone, please help me to move this desk! it is too close to the door.
- 9. Fika : Okay, lets move it Aurel. Dwi : Oh my God, This class is very messy. Hafara, lets tidy up it together! Hafara: I want too, but Im sorry, im still cleaning the window. Please order Fika to help you! Dwi : No matter, Hafara. Fika, Lets tidy up this class! The class looks bad. Fika : Okay, lets do it!
