riends, family members,and loved
ones gathered. Today, we have the
honour and privilege of paying
glowing tribute to a unique person,
JULIANA ABENA KWABIA DARKO. She is
affectionately known KWABIA by us
(siblings and family).
We are always upset when death strikes a
family, and this is understandable. We are
saddened by our feelings of isolation,
anxiety, and uncertainty. Let us, however,
convert our fears into trust , sorrow into
pleasure, our loneliness into Division
fellowship, and call out God, our Divine
comforter, " as we mourn our beloved's
ones.
ABENA KWABIA was such an amazing
individual in so many ways. She lived life
to the fullest and affected the lives of so
many people throughout her time with us.
As we struggle to find perfect words to
explain our feelings about our sister, we
reflect on the numerous important roles she
has performed throughout her life.
Our sister was a family woman. She
loved her family profoundly.
She was a devoted wife, daughter, auntie,
sister, and friend.
When our parents were living, our sister
was a source of consolation for them. She
helped them on the farm and also helped
them to trade the farm products in the

neighbouring towns. In the absence of
our parents, she takes up the leadership
role in taking care of her younger
siblings and protecting them. Our sister
was dedicated to honouring, supporting,
guiding and most importantly, protecting
her family in all her duties. Due to her
hardworking, smartness and neatness
she was made assistant girls prefect in
school days.
When her sister and the husband
came for her to join them in the city, she
served them with submissiveness doing
the household chores and taking care of
the sister's children (nephew and nieces)
feeding, bathing and carrying them at
her back when ever they cry.
Our sister was very active in sports as
she played volleyball and hand ball in
her school days. She led a morally
upright life guided by a sense right. Our
was not unkind. She ensured that
everyone realised there's no benefit in
carrying grudges among ourselves
ensuring peace and harmony among us.
Sister, was a very devoted Christian,
always found attending church
activities. We can say our sister lived a
fulfilled life.
ABENA KWABIA, its difficult to say
goodbye, so we will simply say farewell,
REST IN PEACE.
