Editor's Notes

  • #2: Hi Thx for having me here today. Here to speak about what I envision what healthcare should look and feel like with the use of technology But first some background
  • #3: I was happy, healthy, mischievous kid. Everything was going for me- I loved school, had my group of friends that I hug out with, I was gifted naturally in sports- had my eyes set on being a ice hockey player or skiwe and I had a great relationship with my family . I loved life- simple as that Until it all came crashing down on me.. Without much warning
  • #4: Medical BS
  • #5: ACH The majority of my time at ACH- treated like royalty, that wmt me was what guided my care That the team worked with each other and with me and my mom That care was customized to my needs and wants Open and transparent communication Got copies of my care- nurses emailed and called me about my blood results Didnt have to come if I didnt have to Anything that could be done over the phone was done over the phone, only came in for OT, PT therapy and physical exams

Things like skiing, traveling, working, in university That care is proactive and not reactive That healthcare with the use of technology enables me to live my life the way I want it to That healthcare and its structure doesnt pull me back in
  • #10: ChangeDay- you may be wondering why I am wearing this collar and no I didnt injure my neck. This is my pledge for ChangeDAY. To wear a
  • #11: I work with an incredible talented team, that is like my second family. We want to enable people to try things, to do action and not just talk about changing care into caring. To bring the user centred to the centre of everything we do in healthcare Check us out,
