The proposal is to transform the elevated highway known as "Minhocão" in São Paulo, Brazil into an elevated park similar to New York City's High Line park. The 3.4 km long "Minhocão's Park" would provide a recreation area for children, outdoor exercise classes, art exhibits, food trucks and other events. It would reduce noise and air pollution for nearby residents while attracting more tourists and investment. A bike path connecting neighborhoods would offer an alternative to driving and reduce traffic. Potential partners include banks, construction companies, gyms, food companies and hotels.
