IMPROVING RELIABILITY Client: GlenMillsSchool,Concordville,PA The Glen Mills School campus is located in Delaware County, Pennsylvania and encompasses nearly eight hundred acres. For over one hundred and eighty-five years, the school continuously provides servicestotroubledyouth. FXBwashiredtoprovideMEPEngineeringservicesfortheschools800acre campus substation upgrade. The project was designed to provide a phased replacement of the entire system and minimize interruption to the daily operation of the school. By upgrading the substation and providing on-site generation, reliability concerns were eliminated. The school and students are able to work, study and explore without disruption. Client: PopeJohnPaulIIRegionalCatholicElementarySchool, WestBrandywine,PA Pope John Paul II Regional Catholic Elementary School is a co-educational, parochial school in western Chester County, PA. As part of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia,theywelcomestudentsfromthesurroundingcommunityandthe parishesofSt.Joseph,St.Peter,andOurLadyoftheRosary.Partneringwiththe schoolsinceitsground-upconstruction,FXBhasbeenakeyplayerinthedesign of this new, state of the art facility.Taking the time to understand the mission of PJP II, the design and construction team was able to accommodate their expansive community outreach goals and student needs. In 2015, FXB completed the MEP Engineering for the schools latest expansion project.
