Mahatma Gandhi was primarily a man of God who believed strongly in truth and non-violence. He aimed to evolve an education system suited to India that developed students physically, spiritually, and morally. Gandhi developed the technique of Satyagraha, which combined truth and non-violence, to overcome evil with good and employed various forms of Satyagraha like non-cooperation, civil disobedience, and fasting to enact social change in India.
