Geeky Weekend is a proposed weekly event to bring together developers, product builders, and tech communities offline to foster knowledge sharing and opportunities. It would provide a dedicated physical space for various tech communities to meet, learn, and work together. The full-day Saturday events would include training, sharing sessions, working spaces, and recreational activities organized around a weekly theme. The goal is to address the lack of regular offline gatherings and help curate opportunities by featuring job postings, hackathons, and sponsor involvement. An initial soft launch is planned for August to September with confirmed participation from local meetup groups.
2. The demand
We lack good offline space for developers to meet and
hang around.
Offline meetups are not frequent enough, and only
connect within one particular community.
Online information about opportunities are numerous,
but not filtered and curated.

- developers
- product builders
In order to:
- foster bonding in the community

- help bring and create opportunities
