Fundraising
o Pop can drive September 24th @ 7:00 p.m.
Meeting in Pearce 225 before hand and carpooling at 7:00 p.m.
Minimum amount per pop can slip is $5.00, slips can be combined to
equal $5.00
Cans must be redeemed at a local store; Meijer, Walmart, Aldi, etc.
Slips can be brought in at any time during the semester
We plan on going to apartment complexes: Deerfield/Lexington,
Jamestown, etc.

o A Tropical Smoothie Caf辿 fundraiser in the future (October)

NSCS will award (5) $1,000 scholarships to assist First Generation college
students in their journey to a degree.
o Merit Award
Each year NSCS awards $1,000 scholarships to thirty outstanding and
deserving new members across the country to help defray the cost of
tuition expenses.
o The Amy Shopkorn Student Affairs Award
Amy Shopkorn is a former NSCS employee. Two $1,000 awards are
granted to students who have created a positive impact on their campus
