The GFC Mesoamerican Knowledge Exchange brought together more than 20 grassroots partners from six countries in North and Central America in Panama City, Panama. Participants discussed the work of their organizations through an interactive "gallery walk" and the importance of restorative practices when working with children and youth. The event also included visits to partners in Panama, a tour of the Panama Canal, and time to interact and learn from others in the global humanitarian community.

For the better part of two decades, the Global Fund for
Children (GFC) has provided valuable support services
for children in need across the globe.
The GFC regularly organizes local community events,
such as the GFC Mesoamerican Knowledge Exchange,
which took place in Panama City, Panama. The event
brought together more than 20 grassroots partners from
six different countries across North and Central
America.

The Knowledge Exchange hosted an

formed small groups and discussed the work
of their organizations. In addition to visiting
the sites of two partners in Panama,
participants discussed the importance of

4. Interacting with the Global
Humanitarian Community
The event included a private tour of the
Panama Canal, as well as a trip to the
historic city center. Above all, attendees at
the Knowledge Exchange had the unique
opportunity to interact with and learn from
their peers in the global humanitarian
community.
