Responsibilities:
 Attend all necessary inspections as identified in the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
 Record and document any and all deviations from the Project Quality Program
 Coordinate with the client representatives to ensure that inspections are carried out
expediently.
 Generate client Requests for Inspection (RFI) where required providing sufficient notice for
Hold, Witness and Inspection points.
 Review the calibration status of any test equipment being utilized on the project ensuring the
equipment is within calibration prior to use.
 Material receiving inspection of pipes, fittings, gasket, flanges, bolts and nuts and pipe
supports.
 Controlling the filler wires and electrodes as per ASME Sec. IIC and
WPS.
 Inspection of weld joint preparation, fit up, alignment & dimensional inspection as per
drawings.
 WQT (Welder qualification test) PQR (and procedure qualification test).

 Preparing Hydrotest Packages & Witness Hydrotest.
 Monitor consumable storage, handling, packing and drying temperature as per project
approved procedure.
 Coordinate and Monitoring of Pre heat, Inter pass temperature and inter pass cleaning as per
WPS.
 Witness Radiographic Testing, development of films, interpretation & Report writing.
 Welder qualification test (WQT) and procedure qualification test.
 Assisting in preparation of Inspection Formats, Procedure and QCPs and
Submitting.
 Preparing Weld Maps & Controlling the welding joints as per Isometric Drawings.
 Preparing daily, weekly & Monthly Inspection/Quality Reports to Client.
