The Giovani Italiani Australia (GIA) is holding a Special General Meeting on October 30th, 2010 in Sydney, Australia. The meeting will include voting on three motions that would create a federation of Italian youth organizations in Australia where organizations, not individuals, would be members of GIA. This new structure is aimed at simplifying GIA's operations and better connecting local organizations with less duplication. All GIA members are invited to attend, vote, and observe. Participants must register online by October 25th and the meeting will be held at the Co.As.It NSW offices in Leichhardt.

What? GIA is holding a Special General Meeting (SGM) to vote on the three motions in the ¡®SGM Program.¡¯ This will create a federation of Italian youth organisations in Australia and mean that organisations will be members, instead of individuals. Thursday, 30 September 2010
Why? These changes will simplify GIA¡¯s operations and allow GIA to add more value to the community. GIA will better connect and support local organisations with less duplication. Thursday, 30 September 2010
Who? All GIA members are invited to attend the SGM and vote on the three motions in the ¡®SGM Program.¡¯ Other members of the community are invited to attend as observers. Thursday, 30 September 2010
Where? The SGM will be held in Sydney, at the offices of Co.As.It NSW, 55 Norton Street, Leichhardt. Participants are responsible for their own accommodation and travel. Thursday, 30 September 2010
How? To attend, you must register online by 25 October 2010. Details are available at www.gia.org.au and it is recommended you review the SGM Program, available on our website, before attending the meeting. Thursday, 30 September 2010

Motion 2: That Giovani Italiani Australia (GIA) inc. disincorporates. Motion 3: That the existing Committee continues in its current form until the ?rst AGM under the new constitution.
