Mental illness affects one in four people globally according to the World Health Organization, yet it still does not receive sufficient policy attention. The Mental Health Innovation Network supports innovators working to change global mental healthcare and has produced a toolkit with four tools to help increase policy influence, including mapping stakeholders, creating a policy influence plan, defining the role of a knowledge broker, and identifying champions for change. The toolkit aims to help innovators and organizations gain more policy impact in global mental healthcare.
