Chris Morley, the chief of staff for Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty, is stepping down from his role after two years in the position. Morley played a key role in McGuinty's 2007 and 2011 re-election campaigns and helped negotiate the recent provincial budget with the NDP. McGuinty praised Morley for his political skills and ability to treat everyone with respect. Morley rose through the ranks over his career and was well-liked by journalists. He will be replaced by David Livingston as McGuinty's new chief of staff.
