Disney partnered with social media apps to encourage visitors to their parks to share photos from landmarks within the parks. They added over 200 custom photo stamps across their six American theme parks. This led to a 1000% increase in social media sharing from Disney parks and a 700% increase in photos added. One initiative called ElecTRONica offered rewards for visiting lesser crowded areas of the parks, which resulted in a 50% redemption rate and helped redistribute annual pass holders during peak times. Disney aims to continue improving these programs to further increase engagement and visits to different areas of their parks.
