- 3. How often should I check the electrolyte level of my batteries? We recommend checking the levels monthly. The correct electrolyte level is 1/2" above the plates in each cell. The level leaves approximately 1/4"Â3/8"of space between the electrolyte level and vent tube.
- 4. How often should I change the oil? We recommend checking the oil level on a monthly basis at a minimum, more frequently depending on your usage. We recommend changing your oil and filter semiÂannually. For new engines, your initial oil change should be after eight hours of run time.
