Farm women in India constitute around half the agricultural workforce and 72% of rural women. This study of 600 farm women across 11 villages in Delhi examined their participation and time spent on various farm activities. It found that women participated fully in weeding, cutting crops, threshing, winnowing, drying, and cleaning grains. They spent the most time on transplanting crops, weeding, and threshing. The study concluded that women play an important agricultural role and their efficiency could be increased through education and training on new technologies.

OBJECTIVES 1. To study the extent of participation of farm women in different farm operations 2. To find out the time utilization patternand amount of work done by farm women in farm activities.
Methodology The study was conducted as a part of a NATP project empowerment of women in agriculture KANJHAWALA and NAJAPGARH blocks of Delhi
