Gordon B. Hinckley was a 15th president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1995 until his death in 2008. He graduated from the University of Utah and served a mission in England from 1933-1935. During his time as president, he oversaw the construction of 78 temples and announced 11 more, as well as establishing the Perpetual Education Fund. His integrity was praised by his wife Marjorie, who said you never had to worry about what he said or did.
