This presentation provides instructions for drawing two geometric designs:
1) A clover shape made by dividing a circle into six parts and drawing three internal circles from points where diameters intersect the circle.
2) An eight-pointed star shape made by dividing a circle into eight parts and drawing a square inside, then circling points where the square's sides meet the circle's diameter.

1. This presentation has been made for you by

2. 1) Let卒s start by the first design. Draw a circle and divide it into six equal parts. You
already know how to do this. You will get two equilateral triangles positioned as you
can see in the image below
3. 2) Join points 2 to 5 and 3 to 6 and get rid of the auxiliary arches. Look at the three
points you get from the intersections between the sides and the diameters. They are
labeled in the image as O1, O2 and O3
4. 3) Place the compass on point O1, take radius O11 and draw a circle. Repeat the
same from points O2 and O3. At this point, you should have got something like the
image below.
5. 4) Erase everything you don卒t need and you will have finished. This is the clover
6. 5) The second one is going to be slightly different than the original. Draw again a
circle and divide it into 8 equal parts. Get the eight points star. You already know how
to do this.
7. 6) Draw a square inside the red one taking as a reference the points A, B, C, and D.
You will get O1, O2, O3 and O4 on diameters 12 and 34.
8. 7) Finally, draw the circles placing the compass on points O1, O2, O3 and O4 and radius
O11. You can tell that all the circles are equal
9. 8) Erase everything you don卒t need and you will have finished. This is the second
