Plot structure describes the arrangement of events in a story. Freytag's Pyramid models plot with five parts: exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution. The climax is the turning point of highest tension. Rising action involves conflicts that build to the climax, while falling action occurs after as a result. Modified Freytag's Pyramid extends before and after the primary rising and falling action. Key plot components include the inciting incident that begins the action, and the d辿nouement that concludes any remaining questions.
The document defines and describes the common elements found in short stories, including theme, setting, characters, point of view, characterization, and plot. It explains that plot consists of an exposition, rising action, conflict, climax, falling action, and resolution. The elements are meant to help analyze and understand the actions, themes, and contexts within short stories. In the conclusion, it suggests using these elements to analyze a familiar fairytale.

Blind Spots in AI and Formulation Science Knowledge Pyramid (Updated Perspect...Ajaz Hussain
油
This presentation delves into the systemic blind spots within pharmaceutical science and regulatory systems, emphasizing the significance of "inactive ingredients" and their influence on therapeutic equivalence. These blind spots, indicative of normalized systemic failures, go beyond mere chance occurrences and are ingrained deeply enough to compromise decision-making processes and erode trust.
Historical instances like the 1938 FD&C Act and the Generic Drug Scandals underscore how crisis-triggered reforms often fail to address the fundamental issues, perpetuating inefficiencies and hazards.
The narrative advocates a shift from reactive crisis management to proactive, adaptable systems prioritizing continuous enhancement. Key hurdles involve challenging outdated assumptions regarding bioavailability, inadequately funded research ventures, and the impact of vague language in regulatory frameworks.
The rise of large language models (LLMs) presents promising solutions, albeit with accompanying risks necessitating thorough validation and seamless integration.
Tackling these blind spots demands a holistic approach, embracing adaptive learning and a steadfast commitment to self-improvement. By nurturing curiosity, refining regulatory terminology, and judiciously harnessing new technologies, the pharmaceutical sector can progress towards better public health service delivery and ensure the safety, efficacy, and real-world impact of drug products.

APM event hosted by the South Wales and West of England Network (SWWE Network)
Speaker: Aalok Sonawala
The SWWE Regional Network were very pleased to welcome Aalok Sonawala, Head of PMO, National Programmes, Rider Levett Bucknall on 26 February, to BAWA for our first face to face event of 2025. Aalok is a member of APMs Thames Valley Regional Network and also speaks to members of APMs PMO Interest Network, which aims to facilitate collaboration and learning, offer unbiased advice and guidance.
Tonight, Aalok planned to discuss the importance of a PMO within project-based organisations, the different types of PMO and their key elements, PMO governance and centres of excellence.
PMOs within an organisation can be centralised, hub and spoke with a central PMO with satellite PMOs globally, or embedded within projects. The appropriate structure will be determined by the specific business needs of the organisation. The PMO sits above PM delivery and the supply chain delivery teams.

11. What is Plot?
Analyzing Story Plot
The plot may be presented through literary
devices such as the following: Chronological-
sequential arrangement of events. This is the
normal way as shown by the story mountain
below.
EXPOSITION - setting
RISING ACTION - problem arises
CLIMAX - most interesting part
RESOLUTION - ending
FALLING - problem solved
12. What is Plot?
The plot is one of the elements of a
narrative. It consists of several events. The
events tell the action and conflict that leads
to its climax and conclusion. It is the story
line plan or scheme. The plot may be
presented through literary devices such as:
Chronological-sequential arrangement of
events, en medias res and flashback.
13. Activity!
Identify the exposition, rising action, climax, falling and
resolution from the story of "The Ant and the Grasshopper."
__1. The grasshopper continue to play under the sun even
the ant adviced him to store food and be ready for the rainy
days.
__2. In the garden where the ant is working while
grasshopper is playing.
__3. The rain came and so grasshopper left without any
food to eat and shelter to settle.
__4. Grasshopper learnt his lesson.
__5. Ant entertain grasshopper to his house.
