This document outlines a plan to provide technology training to teachers at Springfield Middle School in Austin, Texas. The goals are to help teachers incorporate new technologies into their classrooms and improve student academic performance. Over five days, 38 teachers will receive instruction on using open-source software like Moodle, EduBlog, and Moviemaker. Objectives include teachers creating technology-based lessons and increasing tech usage, and students participating more in class and improving test scores. The budget totals $96,550 to cover instructor costs, equipment, software licenses, and food for the workshop. Evaluation will assess the impact through observation, surveys, and test scores.
