U L T R A V I O L E T This deep violet is Pantone's Color Of The Year and will show up everywhere, from fashion to ads.
N E G A T I V E S P A C E Art has been more one-dimensional recently, but that will change this year with negative space taking the forefront.
Dark color palettes will be everywhere, harkening back to the 80s and 90s. MOODY TONES
C I N E M A G R A P H S These seemingly static images come with a twist: a moving component. Cinemagraphs are posed to take over for GIFs this year.
SERIFS Serifs are reminiscent of mid-century advertisements, which are making a comeback. Brands are expected to selectively choose their serifs this year.
