Nebraska Green Team Roundtables Meetings are designed to give businesses access to expert speakers, tours of businesses with successful green initiatives, and provide Teams with a forum to share how they started their teams, practices that are working for them, challenges they have faced and how they've overcome those obstacles, and ideas on how to handle the current issues they face. e·Scrap Nebraska Offset the costs of planning and executing an electronics recycling collection event. Small communities and under- served areas of the state are the primary targets of this program and will be given special consideration for funding. Another Bright Idea CFLs use 80% less energy than traditional incandescent bulbs while providing an equal amount of light. Now there's a safe way to recycle burned out bulbs!
Environmental Service Provider Guidebook Safely dispose of virtually every kind of business waste with our Service Provider Guidebook! Finishing Technologies Certification Uses a mobile training unit developed to instruct members of the surface coating industry using state-of- the-art technology. This hands-on training is vital to assist spray paint technicians in improving their skills. Partners in Pollution Prevention Aims to reduce pollution and waste at its source. WasteCap Nebraska has partnered with the UNL program since 1997 to place student interns in industrial facilities or small businesses so they can identify, evaluate, and implement pollution prevention projects.
