Voice recognition software allows users to control their smartphones using voice commands instead of the touchscreen. Popular examples are Siri and Google Now. Much easier to send a microblog without open the apps. 5. Automatically find out your favorite songs and play them.
Disadvantages of voice recognition softwares 1. Cannot always recognize what you are saying. 2. Can only be used when there is an Internet connection, which costs a lot. 3. May tell you a longer route to where you want to go. 4. Does not need a password so your personal information may get stolen.

Survey result analysis 1 Have you ever used the voice-recognition software 58% 42% on your smartphone? Yes, I have. No, I have not. The majority of the interviewees said that they have ever used the voice-recognition software on their smartphone. It represents that the voice-recognition software is quite common in Hong Kong.

Set alarm clocks. Find the nearest Caf辿 or other location. Create a calendar or plan. Shuffle music order or search some specific songs. Just for fun when playing jokes on it. Many respondents used the functions of calling people without searching contacts and used the software for fun. It may because it is more convenient to call people just by using voice instead of hands and people found this software interesting and entertaining. However, few people used the function of creating a calendar or plan, this may because they usually create plan by written words (Schedule book). Even no one used the function of finding restaurants as there are other apps providing better information (eg. Open rice)

However, few respondents thought that searching dishes of the restaurant or practicing a foreign language are the advantages of the software. It is because the software doesnt provide good services in these aspects.
