Rio de Janeiro is a city located in Brazil that is home to diverse plant and animal life as well as communities known as favelas that house many residents. A group of four students presented a report on Rio de Janeiro for their social studies class, covering topics such as the Maracana stadium, favelas, local flora and fauna, and the various bird species found in the area.
