The Grow Green scheme aims to improve environmental awareness among primary school children in Kingston Borough through an educational program and fair. The program holds two events per year teaching children how and why growing plants helps the environment and lowers CO2 levels. It celebrates results with a fair where winners receive certificates and have their plant grown at the school. The goal is for 50% of children involved in educational events to be growing their own plant at home six months later.
