PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
Astute professional with over 36 years of experience in the areas of
management of Forests, Urban Forestry, large-scale plantations, Horticulture,
management of Wildlife Protected areas ( Sanctuaries) and consultant in
Horticulture & mass plantations in India.
 Proficient in advising and resolving matters relating to Wild life Protection Act,
Forest Conservation Act, Environment Protection Act and Indian Forest Act.
 Worked as Divisional Forest Officer, Wildlife Management, Medak, Andhra
Pradesh which include Protected Areas of Pocharam and Manjira of Andhra
Pradesh. Published (3) documents on birds and biodiversity. Developmental works
undertaken for the protection of Sanctuaries, tackled the problem of Water and
Fodder in the PA.s.Monitored Crocodile breeding in Manjeera Sanctuary.
 Worked as Divisional Forest Officer, Wildlife Management Division , Jannaram
( Kawal Tiger Reserve) for nearly 3 years. Played vital role in declaration of 41st
Tiger Reserve of the Country, made changes in the habitat by manipulation and
management techniques to re-establish the wildlife status in Kawal . The old
sanctuary was brought to normalcy from the status of Poachers den to good wild
life area by introducing the innovative methodologies in solving the basic problems
of fodder, water, disturbance, poaching and protection. Key writer for the Tiger
Conservation Plan of Kawal Tiger Reserve for next decade (2013-14 to 22-23).
 Worked as Curator, Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad around one year and
prepared the Layout of Nehru Zoological Park and Master plan for the Zoological
Park for (20) years as per the CZA guidelines i.e., from 2014-15 to 2034-35 which
has been approved by the Central Zoo Authority. Human resource problems/ feed
/ water problems have streamlined in the Zoo.
 Studied the corridors of Kanha  Pench and Tadoba- Kawal and made important
contribution to the management of Tiger Reserves.
 Visited Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and USA and seen important gardens,
Urban Forestry aspects in Singapore, Unique Gardens of Nangnuchu Gardens of
Thailand , Urban forestry aspects in Bangkok city and city of Kualamapur and
Langkawi in Malaysia.
 Studied the Enivironmental education Centres across country and designed the
Environmental Education Centre of Kawal Tiger Reserve and renovated the
Centres of Manjira and Pocharam.
 Visited more than 100 PA.s in the Country and studied the managerial aspects of
wildlife management in more than 20 Protected areas across country. Studied the
managerial aspects of 10 Tiger reserves. Visited the important Zoological gardens
in Chandigarh, Delhi, Wildlife rescue centres of Gujrat and UP, Nehru zoological
gardens and other gardens in AP and Mysore zoological gardens.
 Visited important State parks of USA like Yellowstone National Park and Taman
nagara National park and Gaur rehabilitation areas and other important Protected
areas of Malasia. Visited the Zoos of Singapore and Denwar.
 Possess excellent communication, relationship management and inter personal
skills.
