First Aid Kits must be easily accessible to adults 3. Larger centres may require a first aid kit outdoors and in each room 4. Smaller centres may share first aid kits between rooms 5. A first aid kit is required for excursions and evacuations First aid kits (Extract from ACECQA) National Regulations:Regulations89,168 A centre-based service must provide an appropriate number of suitable first aid kits that are easily recognisable and readily accessible to adults. The service must have policies and procedures aboutthe administration of first aid to children being educated and cared for by the service. A family day care educator must provide a suitable first aid kit at the residence or familyday care venue that is easily recognisable and readily accessible to adults.
