Local youth will lead a clean-up initiative in downtown Evansville and nearby neighborhoods on Saturday, April 27th from 9-11am as part of Global Youth Service Day. They will then enjoy a free lunch, celebration, and activities at the downtown YMCA from 11:30am to 3:30pm, including attempting a Guinness World Record for Zumbatomic. The event is coordinated by USI's Service Learning Program and aims to beautify the area while celebrating youth service globally.

Local youth will take to the streets of
downtown Evansville and lead an initiative
designed to clean up and beautify the area
and nearby neighborhoods. The event will
be followed by a free lunch, a Celebration
of Youth Service, and activities at the
downtown YMCA as a part of their Healthy
Kids Day. Coordinated by USI’s Service
Learning Program, participants will join
millions of others around the globe who
are celebrating Global Youth Service Day.
The event will take place rain or shine.
