A student at Salford City College Eccles Sixth Form Centre created a 30-second perfume advert as part of their BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production. The student planned the advert, researched other perfume ads for inspiration, filmed the advert using a model, actresses and a camera operator at the photography studio, and edited the footage together within the 30 second time limit. They then rendered and uploaded the completed advert to YouTube.

Looked into the type of style of advert and the products I would like to use. I came to the conclusion of using Armani Code as my product. 13/5/13 I researched different perfume adverts and got ideas on what I would like mine to look like. I wrote down different words and created a mood board. 20/5/13 I filmed my avert using the photography studio. I used one model. Two actresses, and me and the camera operator. I took on board everyone else’s ideas and worked well a group. 27/5/13 I edited my advert together. It had to be 30 seconds long and no longer. So because of this I had to make sure I used the best looking shots I could and make sure the advert ran smoothly all the way through. 3/6/13 I completed my advert and checked I had included everything I needed in the advert. I then rendered out the advert and uploaded it to youtube.
