What is a Haiku? A haiku is a traditional form of Japanese poetry Haiku poems consist of only 3 lines It is usually about nature
Curving up then down Meeting blue sky and green earth Melding sun and rain What is this haiku about? Copy this haiku and write the title.

The Basic Rule  of the Haiku I am first with five Then seven in the middle Five again to end So in summary… -A haiku has 3 lines. -There are 5 syllables in the first line, -7 syllables in the second line, -And 5 syllables again in the third line - i.e. a total of 17 (5+3+5) syllables altogether!
Haikus are usually about nature. They capture the feelings the poet has about it!
