- 2. Join us for walking fun! And help us raise money for: Fieldtrips Recess Equipment Classroom Supplies Science Camp Computers
- 3. Here’s what to do… Fill out your pledge envelope with your information. Set a pledge goal and ask friends and family to sponsor you and collect: per lap pledges and/or “ flat rate” pledges.
- 4. Suggested Pledge Goal: $70 per student
- 5. Why so much? So that we can… Go on field trips Supplement classroom supplies Help out Science Camp. Get new computers and other technology. Get
- 6. REMEMBER… WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES!!! Costumes are okay, but not required. No masks or weapons. You’ll wear a lap card on your back and we will check off your laps. You’ll walk for less than 2 hours. This is not a race--NO RUNNING!
- 7. AFTER THE WALKATHON Write your total number of laps on your pledge envelope. Collect the pledge money after school and over the next week. Turn in your pledge money by 11/6/08. Thank you for your support!

- 9. Walkathon Review the Plan Between now and Halloween, collect pledges. (Use your envelope.) On Halloween, you will walk with your class for two hours. Wear comfortable shoes. After the Halloween, collect the pledge money. (Again, use your envelope.
