Environmental pollution can be defined as any undesirable change in the environment that harms life or property. There are several types of pollution, including water, air, land, and noise pollution. Water pollution occurs when harmful substances contaminate bodies of water. Air pollution is caused by particles and gases suspended in the air from sources like vehicle exhaust and factories.  Carbon dioxide-this happens because of
Deforestation and fossil fuel burning.
 Sulfur oxides- very dangerous to humans at a
high concentration. Sulfur in the atmosphere is
responsible for acid rain.

2. ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION  Environmental Pollution can be defined as any undesirable change in physical, chemical, or biological characteristics of any component of the environment i.e. air, water, soil which can cause harmful effects on various forms of life or property

4. WATER POLLUTION  Water pollution occurs when harmful substances often chemicals or microorganisms contaminate a stream, river, lake, ocean, aquifer, .

5. SOURCES OF WATER POLLUTION The sources of water pollution can be classified as  Municipal Waste Water  Industrial Waste  Agricultural Wastes

6. AIR POLLUTION Air pollution is caused by solid and liquid particles and certain gases that are suspended in the air. These particles and gases can come from car and truck exhaust, factories, dust. The solid and liquid particles suspended in our air are called aerosols.

7. CAUSES OF AIR POLLUTION  Carbon dioxide-this happens because of Deforestation and fossil fuel burning.  Sulfur oxides- very dangerous to humans at a high concentration. Sulfur in the atmosphere is responsible for acid rain.

8. LAND POLLUTION land pollution, the deposition of solid or liquid waste materials on land or underground in a manner that can contaminate the soil and groundwater,

9. CAUSES OF LAND POLLUTION Main causes of land pollution:  Construction  Agriculture  Industrial Waste

10. NOISE POLLUTION  Noise pollution is unwanted or disturbing sound in the environment that affects the health and well-being of humans and other living organisms.

11. SOURCES OF NOISE POLLUTION  Transportation systems are the main source of noise pollution in urban areas.  Construction of buildings, highways, and streets cause a lot of noise, due to the usage of air compressors, bulldozers, loaders, dump trucks, and pavement breakers.  Loud speakers, generators, air conditioners, fans, and vacuum cleaner.

12. WAYSTO STOP POLLUTION  We believe that it is the responsible thing to do to increase recycling.  The residents of the country should also try and do their part and put in at least one day of litter picking up.
