Harriet was originally from Manhattan and all the class mates believed that only murderers come
from New York.
Show and tell day at school and Harriet did not have an object, she told a story of her past and blew
peoples minds with her story. She explained that she was kidnapped at the age of three by bandits
who now live in Italy, apparently. Teachers were intrigued and other students found it hard to
believe.
The student talking became friends with harriet and was the only one who believed her. When the
girl told harriet she believed her, harriet grabbed an old piece of newspaper from her pocket. On the
front cover of the newspaper was a headline and a picture of harriets real parents holding her when
she returned home.
Over the weeks she spent a lot of time with harriet during lunch and soon went round hern house
for dinner. They sat on yellow pastel chairs and spoke about harriets incident. Harriet presented
herself by saying she would get revenge for what they did and wasnt scared at all. Harriet is fearless
and determined. Harriet quoted women use poison, men use guns baring in mind harriet is (10
11 yrs). Harriet seemed very strong minded about planning revenge and violent. Harriet and the girl
wrote down their wish in red ink (as a sign of blood). Harriet believed that you would have to
smother yourself in your wish for it to come real. The other little girl undressed herself and rubbed
the piece of paper all over feeling completely embarrassed and humiliated. The other little girl
immediately thought ofb her sister and her bullying ways when it came to the wish.
Days later the older sister continued to throw abuse at her younger sister saying it was her fault that
her parents argued and blamed it on her birth. The little sister screamed I hate you! The father
walked out of the house leaving the mum unsettled and distressed. The mother claimed that they
would move to Washington DC but somehow the two daughters seemed less convinced and that
this was just something she was saying...
When the little girl did eventually move it was her last day at school, every other child said goodbye
and Harriet said wishes made correctly do come true and in a blink of an eye she disappeared.
