The Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board oversees 107 principal market yards, 178 sub-market yards, and 193 purchase centers across Haryana. It has constructed over 11,595 km of roads and developed infrastructure like fruit/vegetable markets, fodder markets, cotton markets, cold storage facilities, and warehouses with a total storage capacity of 4.5 lac MT. Market arrivals of commodities like wheat and paddy have increased from 2010-11 to 2011-12.
