IT Innovations • All mandis being linked by Video Conferencing • RDBMS and Geo-referenced mapping of all Roads & assets • to enable GPS assisted navigation and • use of Google earth imageries and geo-referenced photographs (picked up at• use of Google earth imageries and geo-referenced photographs (picked up at close intervals) to assist planning, monitoring and maintenance activities. • Smart Cards to Farmers/ Traders/Employees for proper accounting of farm produce and payments • Computerization / E-Trading / E-Auctioning / Weigh Bridges. • Smart card based RTGS Payments and online final bills for transparency in civil works
Infrastructure Push- Marketing Infrastructure • Centrally air conditioned modern Agro Malls will be operational at 4 locations this year. • Special Markets Timber / Apple / Cotton / Fish - Planned/ operational . • PHM Hubs (Grading, Packing, Storage) under NHM 10 created + 5 in progress + 13 planned.
• Constructed 11595 km of roads till 31/3/2012. • 1207 km roads are under construction as on 31/03/2012. • Since 1.4.2005, Expenditure on New Construction: Rs 431.78 cr.
