Documentary
Directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Antoine Fuqua, the two-part documentary features
recordings of Alis voice as well as unseen footage of the boxing legend. The first chapter of the
film looks at both Alis wins and the challenges that he had to overcome after he was stripped of
his boxing titles for refusing to be drafted into the military during the Vietnam war. The second
chapter narrates how Ali regained his title and achieved success, both inside the ring as a world
champion boxer and outside the ring as an ambassador, philanthropist, and pop culture icon.
