He had such quiet eyes His eyes were calm and

She did not realise She did not know
They were two pools of His eyes were like two
lies pools filled with lies

Layered with thinnest ice Thinly veiled, like very thin
ice
To her, those quiet eyes To the woman, those calm
and quiet eyes
Were breathing desolate Looked very sad and alone
sighs

Imploring her to be nice The eyes were begging
her to be nice to him
To her, those quiet eyes To the woman, those calm
and quiet eyes
And to give him happiness
And to render him to and pleasure so that he
paradise would feel like he was in
paradise (heaven)

The woman wished she
If only shed been wise had been wiser in her past
actions
And she had listened to
And had listened to the the sound advice given to
advice her by people who cared
about her
They had advised her not
Never to compromise to give up her moral values
or principles
