Emphasis is placed on navigating the above areas as well as other skills such as; caring for personal belongings, personal hygiene, and general housekeeping skills. Our Center for Daily Living Skills makes a positive difference in educating our children in becoming more independent and community wise. As Assemblyman Hikind stood behind the checkout counter in the Daily Living Skills Center, he expressed to Mr. Weinstein how excited he is about all the work being done at Shema Kolainu. He said he was honored to be a part of the days events and thanked everyone for all the selfless work they continue to do for the children.
